Why does it cost money to recycle ?

Electronic waste (e-waste) is the worst of all when it comes to pollute the environment. At PC Recycle, our commitment is to recycle all e-waste, not just the part that brings revenue. The material that generate enough revenues to offset a clean and ethical recycling process (such as circuit boards) are taken for free. However, some material such as CRT monitors and Televisions are extremely pollutant and are expensive to properly process. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO RECYCLE TELEVISIONS AND MONITORS FOR FREE: THOSE CLAIMING SO USUALLY SHIP IT OVERSEAS OR SEND IT TO LANDFILL.

PC RECYCLE IS REGISTERED ISO 14001:2004 and our recycling process is fully auditable.

If you want a pickup for a total of less than 30 pound, we can send you a courrier that will cost you $25,00. For pickups over 30 pound, please call for a quote. You can also bring your material to recycle yourself; in that case only the recycling fees will apply.
